A digital shield for the protection of media freedoms "Plenum Novinara" is the first specialized mobile SOS application in the region, designed to provide immediate protection to media workers in the field. The application directly addresses the problem of physical threat and destruction of evidence during an attack. The key functionality is the SOS button. In case of danger, a single press activates a silent alarm that sends geolocation to the legal team, while the phone automatically starts recording audio and video. These recordings are stored in real time on a secure Cloud server, ensuring that the evidence remains preserved even if the attacker destroys the device. In addition, the application offers the option of detailed reporting of attacks and threats, which automatically triggers a legal protection protocol. The system immediately notifies lawyers and associations, drastically speeding up the reaction and increasing the chance of prosecuting the attacker. This is a tool that ensures that no attack on the truth goes unpunished.
